Stimulation Chemicals

 

SE-30 Hydrochloric acid inhibitor to prevent corrosion between 240 -300 F.

 

SE-35 Hydrochloric acid inhibitor to prevent corrosion between 200 -240 F.

 

SE-40 Nonionic Surfactant (for use in acid or as a pre-flush) SE-40 is proprietary product that is composed of nonionic surfactants, co-solvents, and oil/water soluble alcohols. SE-40 will strip and put in the hydrocarbon deposits into solution, so the acid can work on the acid soluble layer. .

 

SE-202 is specifically formulated as an acid additive in crude systems with heavy asphaltene deposits or asphaltene/paraffin deposits.

 

SE-220 is a blend of selected oil and water soluble alcohol solvents that are extremely effective in treating paraffinic and asphaltenic crude oils. In wells with asphaltene and paraffin damage, SE-220 is an excellent preflush to acid treatment.

 

SE-300 solvent is a complex blend of broad range solvents for use in removing and controlling paraffin and asphaltene deposits in production operations. It is an oil soluble, non-ionic liquid that will effectively remove and help prevent paraffin and asphaltene deposits in crude oil production wells, equipment and storage facilities.

 

SE-303 dispersant is a concentrated water soluble paraffin and asphaltene dispersant designed for use as a water based well stimulation additive.

Surfactants

 

SE-SURFTEK WO-70 Emulsifier/surfactant for low density drilling fluids. Emulsifier/Surfactant

 

SE-Xanthan Gum Drilling grade xanthan gum.

 

SE DD Drilling Detergent reduces the surface tension, water-wets and removes oil from the formation or drill solids. It helps increase the rate of penetration by reducing torque hole friction and the tendency for "balling" of the bit. It also resists contaminants from salt and calcium. The product is environmentally friendly and has a very low toxicity.

 

Specialty Chemicals for Oilfield

 

SE D-Foam Antifoam These products are silicone based defoamers for drilling and other oil and gas related systems with foaming problems.

 

SE X-Chrome Free Thinner A quality mud thinner for use as a drilling mud thinner. This product has proven excellent performance as a chrome-free lignosulfonate dispersant and thinner replacement.

 

SE SURFTEK AD-31 Foaming Agent This product is a multi-purpose, air-drilling foamer that performs in fresh or hard water and saturated brine water. It produces large volumes of foam even in the presence of oil and is effective to about 350°F. The product is safe to handle, has a high flash point, and does not require any hazardous shipping labels.

 

SE SURFTEK 35 A  water soluble, liquid scale inhibitor used for the prevention of alkaline earth metal scale deposits during the drilling operation.

 

SE Econo-D-Foam Antifoam This is an economic, non-silicone defoamer for water based drilling fluids and cementing applications.

 

SE Spot Pipe Freeing Agent Concentrate This is a premium spotting fluid. It is an effective means of releasing stuck pipe. The product oil-wets and lubricates the drill string, penetrates and dehydrates the wall cake and reduces differential pressure on the pipe. EN Spot is generally blended to field strength with crude or diesel before using.

Emulsifiers for Oil Mud and Invert Drilling Fluids

 

SE PRIME-VERT Primary Emulsifier Concentrate An economic grade primary emulsifier concentrate for use in oil mud and invert drilling fluid applications. The product is designed to be diluted with diesel for field strength product. This is a concentrate.

 

SE 1-C Primary Emulsifier Concentrate Is a quality primary emulsifier proven for use in oil mud and invert drilling fluid applications. The product is designed to be diluted with diesel, mineral oil or other hydrocarbons for field strength application.

 

SE 1-F Primary Emulsifier Concentrate Is a quality primary emulsifier proven for use in oil mud and invert drilling fluid applications. The product (Field Grade) is designed to be diluted with diesel, mineral oil or other hydrocarbons for field strength application. This is a field grade version.

 

SE 2-C Secondary Emulsifier Concentrate and Wetting Agent is a quality secondary emulsifier proven for use in oil mud and invert drilling fluids. The product is designed to be diluted with diesel, mineral oil or other hydrocarbons for field strength application. This is a quality product that imparts both secondary emulsification and wetting properties to the fluid.

 

SE 2-F Secondary Emulsifier Concentrate and Wetting Agent (Field Grade) This product is a quality secondary emulsifier proven for use in oil mud and invert drilling fluids. The product is designed to be diluted with diesel, mineral oil or other hydrocarbons for field strength application. This is a quality product that imparts both secondary emulsification and wetting properties to the fluid. This is a field grade version.

 

SE 3-C Wetting Agent Concentrate Is a quality wetting agent concentrate proven for use in oil mud and invert emulsion drilling fluid applications. This product is used to enhance, replace or supplement secondary emulsifier additions.

Rheology Modifiers and Filtrate Control Addtives

 

SE RMC Rheology Modifier Concentrate A high quality rheology modifier used to enhance the rheology characteristics of straight oil mud systems.

 

SE LEM Rheology Modifier Concentrate An economic rheology modifier used to enhance the rheology characteristics of straight oil mud systems.

 

SE F Filtrate Control Additive A high quality, temperature filtrate control additive for oil mud and invert drilling fluid systems. SE F comes in three grades, SE F-LT (for low temperature applications), SE F-MT (for medium temperature applications) and SE F-HT (for high temperature applications).

 

SE OS-F Filtrate Control Additive This is a non-gilsonite filtrate control product used in oil mud and invert drilling fluid systems. Three grades Are available. OS-F1 (invert and diesel systems); OS-F2 (diesel and mineral oil systems); and OS-F3 (synthetic mineral oil systems).

 

SE PAC Viscosifier A high purity PAC for viscosity control. (Similar to DRISPACO©) Product is available in Regular, Low and Super Low viscosity.

 

SE Econo-Vis CMC for rheology control in drilling. Lo-Vis and Hi-Vis Viscosifier grades available.

 

SE Shale-Inhib Shale Inhibitor and Filtrate A high quality, but economical SOLTEX© equivalent proven to be a formation enilizer by inhibiting shale

 

SE CAUSTI-LIG Causticized Lignite A quality causticized lignite drilling fluid additive equivalent to Baroid CC-16©. Lignite A quality lignite drilling fluid additive equivalent to Baroid Carbonox®.

 

SE CHS Concentrate This quality clay enilizer additive is equivalent to the MI clay enilizer. It is designed to be cut back with water and can still be diluted and prepared as a concentrate in some cases.

 

SE Lignitrol Filtration Control Agent A high quality modified lignin/polymer filtration control agent that is tolerant to contaminants such as calcium, magnesium, chloride ions and high solids. The product also functions effectively over a wide pH range and is stable up to 400°F. The product contains no heavy metals and is non-hazardous. It is equivalent to Baroid Baranex®.

 

SE LCM Lost Circulation Material Are treated fibers which act as oil or water humectants for lost circulation control in drilling systems.

 

SE X-Trol 1 Filtration Control Agent A chemically cross-linked water soluble, extremely high molecular weight, polymer resin designed for high-temperature/high pressure filtration control, shale inhibition and borehole enilization. It is a superior performing product in drilling mud systems and continues to function in systems where temperatures may exceed 400°F. This product is similar to the performance of Baranex©.)

 

 

SE X-TROL 1-C Filtration Control Agent A highly concentrated version of SE X-TROL 1-C. Product performance is about 2 times that of SE X-TROL 1, and greatly exceeds the performance of Baranex®.

 

SE Liqui-Thin Dispersant and Thinner Is a water based dispersant and thinner with temperature tolerance to over 430°F. It is non-hazardous, non-foaming, contains no heavy metals and is non-fluorescing. SE Liqui-Thin is equivalent to Alltemp®, and Alcomer 34LO (but has a higher activity than 34L).

 

SE Liqui-Thin II A  high temperature deflocculant dispersant and thinner. is a thermally stable product to over 350°F. It is highly tolerant to calcium and alkali metal salts. The primary application is to help control the rheology of drilling fluids by reducing viscosity and gel strengths. It will reduce fluid loss in most drilling fluid systems at temperature in excess of 400°F. SE Liqui-Thin II is equivalent to Baroid Thermo-Thing.

 

SE PHPA Polymers Are designed to be extremely effective in enilizing clays, imparting viscosity and filtration control. These products also reduce torque and the possibility of sticking when drilling with fresh water or KCl fluids.

 

SE HT-Trol High Temperature Fluid Loss Control Additive is designed for high temperature fluid loss control. Although not an equivalent, it is designed for Loss Control Additive applications similar to Baroid Therma-Check®.
